MOLAVIN
The truth can be forgotten by repeating a lie, a cloud of thick, intangible smoke.
This comic opera tells the story of the life and visions of Molavin, a smoke seller who, tired of lying, seeks to regain his dignity. Even if he has to die for it.
“Far beyond a colossal display of histrionics, a capacity for improvisation so natural that it is at times frightening, the expressive power of his face, his body, or the completely thrilling vitality with which he expresses his precise and heart-wrenching sentences.” (Gerardo León, EL UNIVERSAL newspaper. Mexico City. 2015)
